台北監獄林姓收容人（36歲）本月1日在獨居房中突然昏迷、心跳停止，送醫不治，因臉上等部位有擦傷，家屬今天向檢方提出質疑，希望查明死因。

台北監獄表示，林姓收容人10月入監時，體檢無異常，但有心理上和精神不穩定等情況，戒護人員特別注意，入監後有廿多次擾亂秩秩、自殘、自殺等行為，都被管理員勸止，12月1日他攻擊室友，被移往獨居庫房，由管理具看管，當天下午五點多突然昏倒、無意識，經緊急送醫仍不治。

北監強調林未和人鬥毆，也沒有人對他凌虐，臉上和手腳的擦傷，是救護時掙扎的傷痕，所有資料都提供給檢察官參考。

不過家屬質疑死因不單純，請檢方調查真相，檢察官表示將解剖複驗查死因。
