扁保外法務部：尊重矯正署

法務部次長蔡碧玉今天說，法務部矯正署今天一定會處理前總統陳水扁保外就醫一案，法務部尊重矯正署，不清楚要花多少時間。

蔡碧玉上午到立法院司法及法制委員會備詢，會前受訪表示，早上矯正署一定會處理審查陳水扁保外就醫資格，但她並不了解要花多少時間。這是矯正署職權，不需要報法務部同意。法務部完全尊重矯正署審查，也尊重專業。

媒體詢問，外界質疑去年12月31日矯正署為什麼不加班處理扁案，耽誤陳水扁就醫時間。蔡碧玉說，矯正署已經非常慎重處理。畢竟公文到的時候已經接近下午6時，相關委員來不及審閱卷證，後續行政作業包括行文給檢方，讓檢方諭令交保等，也都不是一個晚上可以完成。
