獲釋的半島電視台澳洲記者葛雷斯特（Peter Greste）2日說，他對自己重獲自由如釋重負，但因和他一起入獄的另外兩位記者法米和莫哈梅德仍在埃及監獄中，他說他對此感到「焦慮」。

葛雷斯特入獄400天後獲釋，目前他人在塞浦路斯，於返回澳洲途中。

埃及總統府表示，擁有埃及與加拿大雙重國籍的法米只要放棄埃及國籍即可獲釋。

埃及人莫哈梅德並無雙重國籍，處境較令人關切。

葛雷斯特、法米、莫哈梅德2013年遭當局以散播假新聞與協助「穆斯林兄弟會」罪名逮捕。
