印度H1N1緊 台灣贈N95口罩

中華民國駐印度代表處12日下午舉行捐贈儀式，將7000餘枚N95口罩分別贈予H1N1新型流感疫情嚴重的西印古茶拉底省和德里巿政府。

截至12日，古茶拉底（Gujarat）省今年已有5969個H1N1確診案例，造成368人死亡。在德里，同期間有3806個確診案例，造成11人死亡。

駐印代表處指出，儀式由中華民國駐印度代表田中光主持，古省駐京助理代表舒克拉（Madhukar Shukla）、德里巿政府衛生廳綜合疾病監控計畫主任辛赫（Sharan Singh）代表受贈。

田中光在儀式中指出，在印度H1N1疫情擴大之際，中華民國政府特別寄發口罩贈予最需要地區，並立即分發醫護人員。他期盼這批口罩協助遏制疫情，發揮重大效益。兩位受贈代表均向中華民國表達謝意。

駐印代表處指出，第2批約3000枚N95口罩預定14日空運抵印。
