前總統陳水扁的兒子陳致中確定退出今年的立委選舉，他在line群組中告知朋友自己退選的考量。

陳致中告訴朋友的line全文：各位辛苦，感謝您們不離不棄，無怨無悔，剖腹相挺，致中很痛苦宣佈，下午會跟市長開記者會，顧全大局，不參與這次立委選舉。派系，媒體，藍營介入太深。會贏，為何不戰（民調贏10.5%），實在有太多無奈，壓力，千斤萬擔，對不起未能完成您們的期望，我會扛起所有責任。拜託大家諒解。
