開全美先例 堪薩斯州禁碎胎手術

美國堪薩斯州今天開全美先例，禁止1種普遍的第2孕期墮胎手術。

路透社報導，這項將在7月1日生效的法律禁止使用「擴張和吸取」手術，內文載明，這項手術可能導致胎兒在被肢解的情況下吸出。

堪薩斯州支持這項法律者表示，這種墮胎手術很可怕；但婦女醫療團體表示，一般認為，這是終結第2期懷孕的最安全方式。

不過這項法律有轉圜空間，即若為保全母體性命或是懷孕已嚴重危及母親健康時，仍可施行碎胎手術。

根據美聯社，強烈反對墮胎的堪薩斯州共和黨籍州長布朗貝克（Sam Brownback）已簽署新法。他與起草法案的全國生存權委員會（National Right to LifeCommittee）表示，他們希望堪薩斯州的例子能促使其他州跟進。

相同法案目前已在密蘇里州、奧克拉荷馬州與南卡羅來納州提出。
