紐約時報報導，美國2016總統大選共和黨可能參選人傑布．布希於2009年的佛州選民登記表中，圈選自己是「拉美裔」，而非白人。

報導附上這張表格的影本，表示取自邁阿密─戴德郡選舉局。該郡與傑布．布希的發言人均尚未置評。

操流利西語且妻子為墨西哥裔的傑布．布希，在他於佛州州長的兩個任期中，深受拉美裔支持。
