智慧手術刀　能迅速嗅出癌組織

【綜合報導】英國倫敦帝國理工學院塔卡特斯（Zoltan Takats）博士的團隊，研發改造出「智慧手術刀」，利用加熱刀片切除組織時產生的煙，透過手術刀上配置的高科技質譜儀，分析煙霧裡的物質為健康或是有癌的組織，分析結果可在數秒內顯示，讓操刀醫師迅速得知病人的組織狀況。
