DVD盒上的文案大概是這樣描述的：故事發生地點為最近十年左右的法國某海港都市由於此都市與英國領土只有一道海峽的距離，勇於追夢的戰爭難民們紛紛聚集於此一個17歲的伊拉克少年，為了尋回移民英國的女友不惜賭上自己的性命，試圖泳渡寬約36Km，水溫10度的英吉利海峽... 盛年不再的游泳教練，對分居多時的妻子也無意挽回但這位伊拉克少年激起了他熄滅多年的熱情他奮不顧身衝破國家禁令，暗助少年的偷渡計劃也伸出手試圖拉回漸行漸遠的妻子......
