【短片】關狗籠絕食36小時　抗議政府屠殺貓狗

【簡銘柱／台北報導】台灣貓狗人協會執行長黃泰山自昨天早上10時起，在農委會前將自己關進狗籠並絕食，抗議農委會假借狂犬病疫情的擴散，對流浪狗進行撲殺，並號召民眾在8月9日至農委會前一同抗議。
 
黃指出中央對狂犬病疫情束手無策，不但發不出疫苗，還放任地方濫捕流浪貓犬，根本是「以防疫之名，行屠殺流浪貓犬之實」。黃呼籲農委會立即停止撲殺，廣發疫苗，並為流浪貓狗施打疫苗及結紮，才能有效防止狂犬病疫情擴散。
