The dummy’s head contacted the frontal airbag but rolled to the left as the steering wheel moved 11 cm to the right, leaving the head vulnerable to contact with forward structure. The side curtain airbag deployed and had sufficient forwardcoverage to protect the head from contact with forward side structure andoutside objects.
