2012年人均所得德國41886元，台灣20336元，兩者相差一倍，
換算德國大約人均所得125萬台幣，台灣人均所得62萬台幣
而根據德國中產階級稅後實領薪資一文可知
德國所得稅最多人適用的級距，年薪在13470~52881歐元之間
本級距的所得稅率：15.41% ~ 26.38%
退休保險員工負擔: 9.45% [2]
公立健康保險: 8.2%
看護險: 1.025%
失業保險: 1.5%
換算之後德國的中產階級實領月薪的 64.415%（年薪13470）~ 53.445%（年薪52881）
簡單講，年薪13470歐元的德國人一年繳 13470 x 40 x 35.585% = 191731台幣的稅金
年薪52881歐元的德國人一年繳 52881 x 40 x 46.555% = 台幣的稅金984750台幣的稅金
而根據江宜樺院長的定義，台灣中產階級所得月薪約42222台幣，換算年收入506664
依照台灣所得稅法年收入506664扣東扣西扣撫養之後稅率落在5%那邊
換言之台灣中產階級稅金一年繳 506664 x 5% = 25333台幣的稅金
兩相比較
當你在羨慕德國房屋便宜的時候，其實是德國政府先把人民搶劫一番，再把錢拿去穩定房市
讓你以為德國房屋很便宜，你問問你自己，台北市房屋一戶平均1000萬
但是稅金拉高到德國一樣你真的願意接受嗎
更何況想在德國大都會居住的居民算是中間偏高階級
所得稅率會落在 42% 以及 45% 那兩邊而不是 26% 那邊
房屋便宜的背後藏著謊言
