亞洲金融重鎮新加坡金融管理局（MAS）10日表示，正密切檢查比特幣（Bitcoin）等虛擬貨幣、寶石和貴金屬等交易，以免這些平台成為犯罪者或恐怖份子的非法融資新管道。

金融管理局指出，隨著科技演進、犯罪手法更加複雜，當局將近一步研究這些平台，以更了解不法份子能如何透過這些管道洗錢或融資。

金融管理局說，政府將評估國際社會的最佳做法，決定是否有必要推出防護和緩和措施。
