高階智慧型手機進入飽和期，雖然今年宏達電 (2498)、三星、索尼等各大手機廠已於第一季底、第二季初陸續推出高階旗艦機種，但手機通路商坦言，今年品牌廠、通路商都錯估新機銷售力道，今年旗艦機種端出市場後，明顯沒有銷售熱度，歸納原因有二：第一，市場正在觀望4G開台後，是否會有更多新機種推出；第二，iPhone 6即將推出市場，這一次iPhone 6將進行大改版，也讓消費者引領期盼。

身為手機通路商龍頭，神腦總裁林保雍表示，今年旗艦機種銷售狀況確實低於預期。過去，索尼、三星、HTC只要一推出旗艦機種，就會有新機效應，銷售狀況非常好，但今年第一次發生高階旗艦機種出來卻沒有熱度的情況，手機品牌廠、電信商、通路商都錯估了今年新機銷售情勢，也讓通路商庫存增加。
