北韓官方7日首次承認國內勞改營的存在，被視為是針對今年稍早聯合國的評論性的人權報告的回應。

來自這個遺世獨立、貧窮國家的外交官接受訪問時表示，一名北韓政府高層已拜訪歐盟總部，交談中表達對於明年的人權討論議題的興趣。
