嘉義市到南投縣政府，大眾交通工具

如題。

有事要到南投縣政府，請問若從嘉義市搭車，要怎樣搭車以及轉車？火車或是客運都可以，但是如果要轉車，請詳細告知要換搭怎樣的路線，以及搭車地點。
並且請拜託告知車程時間和換搭時間(如走到定點要多久)等，因為要估好說是前一天就得先出發，還是當天出發......

並請告知回程，應該要如何搭車，謝謝>

ps.不打算自己開車。
