舊電腦xp作業系統升級成win8的可能性?

最近想把家裡的舊電腦從xp升級為win8
一來xp不再更新
二來是在坊間的電腦店買的，之前有跳出視窗說我是盜版軟體的受害者
我是不知道是誤判還是怎樣啦XD
再來就是純粹手癢~

acer Veriton M265
E2220 2.4G/ 1M/FSB800
2GB DDR2
320GB SATA

規格大致上是這樣

請問在不花錢升級硬體的情況下跑得動WIN8嗎?
希望不會升級後讓電腦變得更慢或更鈍

這台2009年製造的
目前是給長輩上網看個股票、基金和youtube而已
想說更新後會不會讓長輩在網路上購買基金那一類的比較安全
因為過去被我裝了一些奇奇怪怪的軟體還有瀏覽各種奇怪網站
早就想把他重灌了
