除日前意外釋出Xperia Z4 Tablet相關消息後，目前Sony也在官方Google+證實將在MWC 2015展期公布此項新機，但暫時未透露具體規格等細節。

根據Sony在官方Google+釋出消息，確定將在MWC 2015展期公布新款平板裝置Xperia Z4 Tablet，同時就先前消息來看，此款新機將配置2K解析度螢幕，以及至少8吋以上的輕薄機身設計，同時也預期將搭載Qualcomm Snapdragon 810處理器。除將在3月2日開展首日揭曉Xperia Z4 Tablet，Sony也準備展示包含Xperia E4等新機。

至於年度旗艦新機部分，Sony目前仍維持將以獨立形式活動進行發表，但是否因為仍無法改善Snapdragon 810處理器夾帶散熱問題，目前還無法進一步做確認。
