「現有的弱視治療，必須用眼罩遮蓋住視力較好的一眼，患者常因為不舒服或遭受歧視而難以持久，」數位醫療軟體Amblyotech與電玩軟體Ubisoft共同開發的電玩治療，則把「遊戲化」（gamification）概念應用在醫療上，專利技術則有加拿大名校麥基爾大學（McGill Univ.）的研究背書。
