房間通風用空氣清淨機真的有效嗎?

我看很多人回答要改善房間通風，可以考慮空氣清淨機。

但我有點不懂，因為房間小～白天陽光大只好把窗簾拉下來
但這樣就不通風了

會有種室內缺氧的感覺，所以我感覺缺氧到不行時..就會打開冷氣
就不會有缺氧的感覺了

但是這樣又覺得太費電了

空氣清淨機真的能夠取代冷氣（空調）達到的通風效果嗎？
希望有實際經驗者作答
