記者林修卉／台北報導 國民黨立委徐耀昌15年前任職苗栗縣頭份鎮長，被控圖利棄土業者不法牟利1291萬餘元，被依圖利罪起訴。台北地院審理近12年，23日依圖利罪判刑9年，褫奪公權6年，全案仍可上訴。 徐耀昌發布聲明指出，此案拖延多年，卻在短短3個月內，草草重組合議庭並臨時更換新法官進行判決，在官司角度顯有極大瑕疵，判決過程極不尋常。 徐耀昌還說，在黨內提名進行前，苗栗多事之秋的此刻，是否為有心人刻意運作卡位手段，政治迫害他，而他有充足的無罪事證，將擇期召開記者會向社會大眾進行說明。
