「102年全國美術展」即日至9月22日在國立台灣館美術館登場。

國立台灣美術館表示，公辦美展在台灣美術史上扮演承先啟後的角色，國美館從民國100年起開辦第1屆「全國美術展」，至今年已辦理第3屆。該館期許藉由公平、公正的競賽、評選、獎勵及全民參與的機制，持續培育、拔擢更多的美術創作人才，使「全國美術展」成為台灣指標性的美術賽事。

本屆徵件類別包含：水墨、書法、篆刻、膠彩、油畫、水彩、版畫、雕塑、攝影及新媒體10類，共計徵得1335件作品，經各類別委員會縝密而慎重的的初審、與複審評審作業，計有174件作品脫穎而出，即日起展至9月22日。
