【短片】對花生過敏女童參加夏令營　竟因誤食枉死

【綜合報導】美國加州一名對花生過敏的13歲的女童，因不慎誤食含有花生的甜點，27日不幸死亡。
 
吉奧姬（Natalie Giorgi）自小對花生過敏，她的父母也時時提醒吉奧姬必須注意自己的飲食。日前，吉奧姬參加了夏令營， 食用有「美式沙琪瑪」（Rice Krispies treat）之稱的點心，因為事先不知道加了巧克力與花生，吉奧姬吃了馬上感到不適，雖然後來緊急服藥，20分鐘後還是感到呼吸困難，送醫後不治。
 
沙加緬度當地警方表示，吉奧姬的死因是喉頭水腫（laryngeal edema），父母對此傷心不已，但希望吉奧姬的死能夠警惕其他父母多注意食物過敏兒童的飲食問題。
