【綜合報導】埃及近日政局動盪不安，有許多支持者不滿前總統莫西（Mohammed Morsi）遭軍方罷黜，聚集在開羅市中心抗議，但今日稍早有消息傳出，軍政府已經派出軍隊進行「掃蕩」，目前更傳出已有120人死亡，但預料死亡人數還會往上攀升。

有民眾指出，現場宛如「屠城」，甚至有汽油彈直接丟進一間診所裡。另根據美國CNN報導，現在軍政府正進行第一階段40分鐘的掃蕩。英國BBC報導，現場不斷有催淚瓦斯的投擲，而軍方的直升機不斷在空中盤旋。
