小黑琵餓昏癱倒　強制灌食恢復生機

【王志弘／台南報導】有隻黑琵亞成鳥疑不堪長途飛行、久未進食，24日被台江國家公園管理處巡守員發現癱倒在地，驚動保處人員對其強制灌食小魚，及補充葡萄糖液、抗生素治療後，小黑琵今天恢復生氣，能站立也能自行進食，將擇日野放。
 
台管處指出，同仁在七股主棲地附近的魚塭發現這隻軟腳黑琵，已瞳孔放大、張口呼吸，當時懷疑可能吃到腐肉，造成肉毒桿菌毒素中毒，除趕緊送往動保處醫治，並展開地毯式搜索，所幸僅是個案，未發現鳥群中毒跡象。
 
動保處指出，這隻40公分高、1.3公斤重的小黑琵，檢查有失溫、脫水現象，緊急進行保溫，同時補充葡萄糖液、注射抗毒血清，獸醫師輪流徹夜照顧，幸檢驗結果顯示並非中毒；強制灌食小魚後，小黑琵漸漸能站立，誘食後恢復食慾，一餐可自行捕撈50隻小魚。初步判定應為營養不良所致。
