南投縣竹山鎮紫南宮今天舉行一年一度「萬人吃丁酒」活動，千名志工一早即分組，忙著切洗、埋鍋煮麻油雞湯及平安麵，現場香味四溢。上午9時正式敲鑼分送丁酒，來自全國各地民眾已是大排長龍，豐原吳小姐說，已經連續來10多年，從小吃到大，有吃有保庇。樹林戴姓民眾也是每年來，「吃平安，祈求賺大錢」。

紫南宮主委莊秋安表示，今天共用了1萬公斤的雞肉、4000多瓶公賣局米酒，可提供10萬人次食用，雞湯的酒精濃度只有約2%，希望大家平安健康。（陳方瑩／南投報導）
