「臺馬之星」　10月開航

斥資14.2億元的新台馬輪「臺馬之星」今舉行下水典禮，船上可搭載646名旅客，包含380個臥式，此外可載送小客車28輛，「臺馬之星」載重噸為800噸，除舖位、座位外，有電梯、餐廳、電影院、棋藝間、販賣部、醫務室及咖啡座，也有吊掛式直昇機坪，是國內目前為止自䢖最大型的客貨輪。
 
「臺馬之星」由中信造船的高嘉遊艇公司興建，今在旗津舉行下水典禮，連江縣政府邀請行政院長江宜樺及其夫人上香祈福與擲瓶，江宜樺原預定10時30分到現場，但遲到半小時，到場參觀的幼稚園小朋友等的肚子餓，只好先吃熱狗止飢。
