全台失智人口估逾23萬人，全台寶島眼鏡330家門市響應加入台灣失智症協會「瑞智友善商家」，助走失失智長者找到回家的路。

台灣失智症協會秘書長湯麗玉今天說，台灣面臨人口快速老化，推估失智人口已逾23萬人，全台數十萬家庭承受照顧失智長者壓力。失智症是一症候群，包括記憶力、方向感、判斷力等認知功能逐漸退化，不過長輩還有行動力。

湯麗玉說，由於長者還有行動力，以致失智長者走失意外頻傳；據警政統計通報，民國102年65歲以上非自願性失蹤老人即有2030人，走失長者不僅會造成長者生命威脅，更讓家屬照顧壓力倍增。

寶島眼鏡公司投入公益合作，響應台灣失智症協會推廣的「瑞智友善商家」。寶島眼鏡總經理林俊雄說，透過全國門市，深入走進社區，與在地民眾守望相助，轉變為社區互助模式，一起來幫助、守護失智長輩。(中央社)
