下月起　北市運動中心戶外區域全面禁菸

北市衛生局今指出，該局結合體育局，及北市12個運動中心，打造各運動中心所屬1樓戶外區域無菸環境，衛生局並依據《菸害防制法》規定，公告自103年7月1日起，北市各運動中心所屬1樓戶外區域，全面禁止吸菸場所，違規吸菸民眾可處2000元至1萬元罰鍰。
 
台北市衛生局健康管理處林莉茹處長表示，《菸害防制法》已規範供室內體育、運動或健身之場所全面禁止吸菸，但未將各該場所所屬的戶外區域納入禁菸場所規範。因此，若有民眾於運動中心出入口處周邊之戶外區域吸菸，其他進出及在出入口處周邊運動之民眾，必然會遭受二手菸的危害，且菸煙也容易飄進運動中心內，嚴重影響身體健康。
 
為保障民眾不吸二手菸的健康權益，衛生局與體育局、12個運動中心合作，共同營造各運動中心所屬1樓戶外區域無菸環境，希望讓來到運動中心的民眾，不僅能快樂的運動健身，也能享有清新無菸的健康環境。（張博亭／台北報導）
