立法院民進黨團批評監察委員被提名人范良銹、康照洲、章仁香三人是監察院的「糾正大戶」，總統府發言人馬瑋國26日表示，「糾正案」是監察院對行政院及其所屬「機關」提出，要求相關制度、法令、成效等提出改善的議案，對象是機關；「糾舉案」則是監察院針對中央或地方機關公務人員違法失職情況提出的議案，對象是人。包括范良銹、康照洲、章仁香等三位監委被提名人，皆從未被監察院糾舉。

馬瑋國說，總統府乃監察委員提名作業的幕僚機關。「監察委員提名審薦小組」，就各界推、自薦符合法定資格之候選人，針對其所具備的專業能力、學識經歷、品德操守及社會風評等個人條件逐一審查，提出建議人選及相關意見供總統參考。監委審薦小組均嚴密審視資料，相關單位配合進行資格查核，提名人之資格均無問題。
