雨傘與胡椒的爭霸再起　港警民持續衝突

香港佔中現場持續上演警民衝突，在彌敦道市民和警員多次短兵相接，有20多名戴頭盔持警棍員警，設置拒馬阻攔數百名集會人士向南推進。香港《蘋果》報導，市民則以雨傘打頭陣，雙方隔著拒馬對峙，但突然有警員發難，向市民施放胡椒噴霧，揮舞警棍狂擊前排持傘人士及扯走雨傘，後排集會人士隨即將新的雨傘交到前排。擠滿彌敦道兩旁的市民，同時起哄，經過約十分鐘爭奪戰，警方防線潰散向其他處撤退。（施旖婕／綜合報導）
