經濟改革凱瑞讚印度總理有遠見

美國國務卿凱瑞（John Kerry）今天與印度總理莫迪（Narendra Modi）會面，讚譽曾被美國禁止入境的莫迪為「有遠見的人」，料能改革印度經濟。

這場會談在印度西部古茶拉底省（Gujarat）舉辦。美國總統歐巴馬兩週後將造訪印度，成為1月26日印度國慶共和日慶祝大會的座上賓，他將是任期內二度訪印的首位美國總統。

凱瑞和莫迪在古茶拉底首府甘地那加（Gandhinagar）舉行的貿易高峰會場邊會面，這場峰會以吸引全球各界投資古茶拉底為目標，莫迪希望用此模式刺激印度經濟。

凱瑞今天稍早在峰會發表演說，向數百名與會者表示，兩個經濟大國之間的雙邊貿易從2000年來至今已成長近4倍。
