英國威爾斯阿伯代爾城（Aberdare）一名媽媽發現16歲自閉兒行為異常，遂在其衣服上裝設錄音設備，驚知兒子遭老師「言語攻擊」的真相。

據英國《鏡報》（The Mirror）報導，英國媽媽克里斯汀（Christine Mayor）發現患有嚴重自閉的16歲兒子凱爾（Kyle Thomas）出現異常行為，如會無預警拍打親戚，嘴中重複說出「揍你」等惡意詞彙。

克里斯汀猜測凱爾的異常與校園環境有關，於是在他的短褲上裝設錄音設備，竊聽凱爾在學校所收到的對話。結果發現一名疑為老師的聲音，向凱爾惡意威脅：「你很清楚知道，我等等會把你揍回去」。

克里斯汀表示，「我感到相當震驚，這些是受過專業訓練的人，對待殘疾兒童的態度」，並說自己往後不會輕易信任照顧凱爾的人。

報導指出，學校告知工作人員需以適當方式與學生溝通後，並無傳出有教師受校方處分的消息。目前凱爾已轉學。
