台中市大甲區今(25)日凌晨4時，發生一起死亡車禍。一部載滿4個人的銀色小客車，在行經甲后路下坡路段一處彎道時，疑似車速過快，失控撞上電線桿，且因為撞擊力道過猛，車輛隨即起火，共導致2死2傷，詳細車禍原因仍有待警方詳細調查。

警方獲報前往事故現場，也立刻通報消防隊到場滅火。車禍意外發生後，其中2人及時逃出車外，但男駕駛與另外1名男乘客，疑似逃生不及受困車內，最後均不幸喪生；其中男駕駛當場被燒成焦屍，另名男乘客則是受到強大撞擊力，從後座談到前座，臉部和腹部受到嚴重撞擊傷重不治；另外2人則被送往大甲李綜合醫院急救。
