美印化解民用核能協定僵局

美國總統歐巴馬廿五日飛抵印度新德里，展開兩天訪問行程，印度總理莫迪打破慣例親自接機，凸顯與美國加強關係的決心，兩人會談後宣布達成突破性共識，化解美印「民用核子協定」僵局，解除美國企業投資印度民用核能的障礙。

莫迪說：「在印美簽署協定六年後，我樂見我們加強商業合作，既符合我國法律，也符合國際慣例。」歐巴馬說：「今天我們在兩個議題上達成突破性的共識，這兩個議題讓美印無法在民用核能方面加強合作。這是重要的一步，顯示出我們如何能攜手強化關係。」
