去年表現傑出的洋將耐克(Jim Negrych)，將在中信兄弟22日(大年初四)開訓日報到，跟佩卓(Jaime Pedroza)共組雙洋砲陣容。

佩卓2月初提早抵台，參加球隊訓練及比賽，內部對抗賽時敲出全壘打，讓人印象深刻。

耐克去年出賽49場，打擊三圍0.366/0.406/0.478(打擊率/上壘率/長打率)，稱職扮演第3棒攻勢串連的角色。

兄弟球團1月底就宣布「雙洋砲成真」，耐克預計22日抵台，跟球隊年後開訓日一起報到，另外也會找回穩定的先發投手寇迪(Chris Cody)。

年後兄弟還有5場自辦熱身賽，依序對上樂天巨人、LG雙子、SK飛龍、天津獅跟統一獅，3月7日起展開官辦熱身賽。
