美國總統歐巴馬今天致電丹麥總理桑寧-施密特（HelleThorning-Schmidt），針對哥本哈根攻擊案表達哀悼之意。兩人並誓言對抗反猶主義、捍衛言論自由。

路透社和法新社報導，白宮發布聲明說，兩位領袖在電話中「同意，有必要合作對抗各項針對言論自由的攻擊，並對抗反猶暴力」。

歐巴馬表示，美國與丹麥盟友站在同一陣線，並邀丹麥出席本週的反暴力極端主義高峰會。

哥本哈根警方昨天擊斃1名涉嫌持槍攻擊猶太會堂和1場言論自由座談會的男子。這兩起攻擊事件造成2人死亡，多人受傷。
