智慧手機廠黑莓（BlackBerry）與藍牙技術聯盟聯合宣布，BlackBerry10支持BluetoothRSmart，開發者可以將BluetoothSmart功能整合於BlackBerry 10的應用程式中。藍牙技術聯盟表示，新的BlackBerry 10智慧型手機支援Bluetooth Smart Ready，讓開發者透過黑莓機的應用程式和介面，帶來新的體驗。同時，Bluetooth Smart讓設備能夠透過短距離、高效的資料傳輸而互相交流，並且耗能很低，助於延長智慧型手機和Bluetooth Smart設備的電池續航時間。 BlackBerry表示，開發者編寫的BlackBerry 10應用程式，可以充分利用當今市面上各種BluetoothSmart設備，支援Bluetooth功能的BlackBerry 10應用程式，正在為開發者創造新的機會，使其在健身、醫療和汽車等領域，提供創新的使用者經驗。例如，利用自行車上的速度和節奏感測器，應用程式可在其BlackBerry 10智慧型手機上，跟蹤騎士的表現，健身愛好者則可在訓練中獲取心跳資料來對比表現，感測器甚至可以幫助駕駛員，找到遺失的鑰匙。
