【林錫淵、吳世龍／高雄報導】高市大寮區下午發生砂石車撞死老嫗事故。一名79歲老嫗，今天下午1時37分騎腳踏車逆向準備到鄰居家串門子時，在琉球路一處巷口遭江姓（41歲）司機所駕駛的砂石車撞上，老嫗與腳踏車一同卡在砂石車右前輪下，警消獲報趕到將老嫗拉出送醫，但傷重不治。

江男酒測值為零，他向警方表示，當時在巷口停紅燈，綠燈後踩油門起步欲左轉琉球路往光明路方向行駛，他看左右兩側都沒有人車，沒想到阿婆在砂石車右前方處，因視線死角沒看到，才會直接撞上，直到感覺有壓到東西，加上有路人喊「撞到人了」，他趕快停車卻已經來不及，警方偵訊後依業務過失致死罪送辦。
