美政府關門 恐影響肥咖協商

資誠會計師事務所會計師周思齊表示，近期美國政府關門，台灣與美國在肥咖條款的跨政府協商計畫，恐怕遭受影響。

資誠聯合會計師事務所今天舉辦美國稅務最新趨勢發展記者會。

資誠會計師事務所表示，自今年10月1日起，美國聯邦政府因政府預算無法過關而暫時關閉，造成80萬名政府僱員被迫放無薪假，由於國會尚未制定2014年的政府財政撥款，無薪假將無限期延長直到國會同意撥款為止。

資誠會計師事務所說，雖然尚有130萬政府員工必須不支薪工作直到相關撥款通過，卻仍癱瘓了聯邦政府各主要單位運作。

美國聯邦政府因預算無法過關而暫時關閉，周思齊表示，為了因應明年7月1日開始實施美國外國帳戶稅收遵從法(俗稱肥咖條款)，台灣金融監督管理委員會原本研擬第3季與美方簽屬跨政府協議(IGA)。

周思齊說，但是考量美國聯邦政府關閉的狀態下，簽署的進度恐怕不能如原先預期，台灣各金融機構也要相當關注。
