臉書 買語音辨識工具開發商

（中央社台北13日電）人氣當紅的社群網站龍頭臉書（Facebook Inc.）同意買下語音辨識工具開發商MobileTechnologies。

據彭博報導，臉書產品管理部門主管史塔基（TomStocky）在公司網站上表示，人們遨遊網路時，語音科技愈來愈顯重要，總部位在匹茲堡的MobileTechnologies將有助臉書改善產品。不過，相關交易明細並未公開。

史塔基寫道：「儘管每個月全球有超過10億人使用臉書，我們仍在尋找有助連結世界其他人的方法。這次併購是本公司長期產品路線圖的一項投資，我們繼續朝公司的使命邁進。」

臉書正努力拉攏用戶，增添各項新功能，以利於用戶更容易的溝通與分享資訊。臉書第2季用戶達到11.5億人。
