（法新社華盛頓17日電）官員今天表示，評分網站Yelp同意支付45萬美元，就非法蒐集兒童資料，違反隱私權法的指控和解。

美國聯邦貿易委員會表示，Yelp從2009到2013年間，在沒有先告知兒童雙親和獲得同意下，透過Yelp app蒐集兒童的個人資料。

根據聯邦貿易委員會，數千名兒童提供的生日顯示他們還未滿13歲，但Yelp卻蒐集他們的姓名、電子信箱地址和所在地，以及他們公布的其他資訊等資料。

此調查發現，Yelp行動app並沒有遵守兒童線上隱私保護法（COPPA）的規定。

聯邦貿易委員會表示，Yelp對app的測試不夠充分，沒有確保未滿13歲的使用者不能註冊網站。

Yelp在部落格貼文中表示，已就罰金達成協議，因為「我們的行動註冊程序發生錯誤」，沒有禁止未滿13歲的兒童註冊而造成違法。（譯者：中央社陳昱婷）
