美國地質調查局表示，阿拉斯加州當地時間25日上午10點前發生規模6.2強震，震央位於最大城市安克拉治市西北方約160公里處，安克拉治市感到劇烈搖晃。

地震後，太平洋海嘯警報中心未發布海嘯警報。當地民眾紛紛在社群網站上表示，發生大地震，搖晃得很厲害。目前未傳出重大災情。
