行政院前政委簡太郎將接任行政院秘書長；政務副祕書長將由台中市前副市長徐中雄出任。

傳出行政院長毛治國已徵詢前政務委員簡太郎出任行政院秘書長、前台中市副市長徐中雄將出任政務副秘書長。行政院發言人孫立群上午受訪時僅表示，所有人事還在處理中，希望在立法院下個會期前能解決。但據了解，此一人事消息可信度非常高。

簡太郎受訪則說，沒有接獲任何訊息，目前在屏東全力輔選屏東縣立委補選國民黨候選人廖婉汝。

除行政院秘書長外，行政院尚有文化部長、科技部長、交通部長、2席行政院政務委員、行政院政務副秘書長待補實。
