波士頓醫院槍擊槍手舉槍自盡

法新社報導，波士頓警方說，一名男子向波士頓一所醫院開槍，一位醫生受傷，傷勢危急，疑似槍手然後舉槍自盡。

波士頓警察局長伊凡斯（William Evans）在記者會中說，這起事件將近中午前發生在布里翰婦女醫院（Brigham and Women's Hospital），布里翰婦女醫院的情況「已獲控制」。

警方從早上11時左右開始接獲幾通911電話，告知位於布里翰婦女醫院主要入口對面的心血管疾病中心爆發槍擊。

伊凡斯說：「11時7分，我們接獲另一通電話，說一位醫生遭槍擊，人們把自己鎖在辦公室內。」

他說，受傷的醫生有生命危險。

他表示，當警察抵達現場，「他們在診察室發現我們相信是嫌犯的人，身上有似乎自己施加的槍傷」。

「他的身旁有我們相信是這起慘劇使用的武器。」
