金鶯隊2比輸藍鳥，確定天使隊拿到美聯第一種子，享有季後賽主場優勢。不過，金鶯教頭Buck Showalter仍感到滿意，敗投Chris Tillman也自稱狀況不錯。

Tillman是金鶯隊分區系列賽第一戰先發，這一戰投6局被敲生涯最多的11安，投出5K、沒有四壞球，失4分，吞下今年第6敗，也是客場首敗。

「我的感覺不錯，」Tillman說，「出手動作很流暢，速球進壘點是我本季最佳狀態。」

Tillman中止本季客場8連勝。上一位單季客場不敗的，是2008年紅襪松坂大輔。

藍鳥隊贏球大功臣是新秀六棒Dalton Pompey，擊出三支長打，配合七棒川崎宗則也有兩安，兩人各有2分打點。

拿到勝投的是藍鳥隊先發Drew Hutchison，投5局被敲5安，送出8K，失2分，獲本季第11勝。
