Sony傳與維康影業洽談 強化付費電視服務

先前推出線上串流影音服務Video Unlimited，並且透露今年秋季後將推出4K串流影音，Sonya目前再度傳出將與維康影業集團 (Viacom)洽談內容合作，或許未來將能用於旗下線上付費電視內容服務。而在此之前，Sony也傳出與迪士尼 (Disney)洽談內容合作。

根據華爾街日報網站引述消息來源表示，Sony目前正與持有MTV、喜劇中心頻道 (Comedy Central)與尼克羅頓電視頻道 (Nickelodeon)的維康影業集團 (Viacom)洽談內容合作，或許未來將進一步將合作內容應用在即將推行的線上付費電視服務。而除了與維康影業集團洽談，先前Sony也有數次與迪士尼 (Disney)洽談合作的消息傳出。

不過，Sony方面對於此項傳聞，並未給予任何回應。

就Sony方面，除了將搭配本身電視產品、服務進軍外，也預計將旗下PlayStation系列機種納入電視內容應用平台，同時也準備在今年秋季正式推出旗下4K影音內容服務。

目前包含Google、蘋果、亞馬遜等大型廠商均針對電視服務內容市場進軍，顯然電視平台依然有相當高的獲利商機，而微軟方面先前也有消息指出將以Xbox電玩主機作為電視機上盒，進而提供相關影音播放服務。
