北港溪橋重建 台21線封1車道

〔自由時報記者佟振國／國姓報導〕國姓鄉台二十一線北港溪橋橋齡逾三十年，且排水斷面不足，公路總局拆除重建，新建橋樑目前進行兩端引道工程，假日容易塞車，公路總局南投工務段已在道路兩端增設號誌，呼籲駕駛人務必要依燈號指示通行，預計十月底完工通車，交通狀況即可恢復正常。

新建的北港溪橋全長一百二十三公尺，長度是舊橋兩倍，因應防洪標準改變，橋樑高度也提升，橋樑主體大致完成，目前封閉台二十一線一個車道進行兩端引道工程，只剩下一個車道供雙向車流通過，無法進行會車，必須單線管制放行，假日常有遊客不熟悉路況誤闖管制點，導致交通打結。

至於上游的古蹟糯米橋臨時護欄二年前遭洪水沖毀，至今封閉禁止人員通行，前北港村長葉佳壇表示，希望縣府、中央能信守承諾，於北港溪橋重建完成減輕水患威脅後，儘速進行糯米橋橋墩、固床工及欄杆復建，讓古蹟橋樑風華再現。
