美聯社報導，法國總統歐蘭德24日證實，在阿爾及利亞旅遊時被「伊斯蘭國」（ＩＳ）外圍組織綁架的55歲法國人古德爾遭斬首殺害。

稍早，歐巴馬在聯合國大會演說，表示美國不會和ＩＳ這類「惡魔」和「殺手」理論或談判，因為「他們只懂得武力這種語言」。而在歐巴馬演說的同時，與ＩＳ呼應的阿爾及利亞極端組織發布視訊，顯示被該組織綁架的法國人古德爾，已被斬首殺害，因為法國沒有在23日的期限前停止和美國一起攻擊ＩＳ。

歐蘭德在聯大會議室外受訪說，古德爾遭殘忍「刺殺」，因為他是法國人，而他的國家正為了對抗恐怖主義和保衛人權而戰。
