金管會公布10家本國銀行大陸分行開業至今年上半年獲利新台幣7.17億元，其中又以國泰世華銀行上海分行居獲利冠軍，賺了1.79億元，兆豐銀行蘇州分行衝最快，設立剛滿1年，就賺7400萬元，居第三。至於3家大陸銀行在台分行，除中國建設銀行成立較短，還無損益數字，中國銀行及中國建設銀行也都有獲利，合計賺新台幣1.33億元。
根據金管會統計，截至今年6月底，10家本國銀行的大陸分行開業至今獲利新台幣7.17億元，其中，國泰世華銀行上海分行獲利1.79億元居冠，第一銀行上海分行、兆豐銀行蘇州分行分別以1.41億元、0.74億元居亞軍及季軍。
若以大陸分行平均每位員工獲利貢獻度來看，整體本國銀行員工均值為293萬元，其中，國泰世華銀行30名員工，創造1.79億元的盈餘，平均每位員工貢獻597萬元拿下第一；第一銀行員工數為29名，平均每位貢獻486萬元排第二；土地銀行獲利則7000萬元，但因員工數僅15人，平均每位員工也貢獻467萬元，排名第三高；華南銀行則以444萬元緊追其後。
金管會表示，本國銀行大陸分行的經營情形與開業時間長短及位置有關，主要獲利來源為利息收入，放款規模也達357億元，表現不錯。至於整體國銀大陸分行總資產達1002.03億元，放款為357.23億元，存款為85.58億元，員工總數為245人。
不僅本國銀行在大陸分行有賺，大陸銀行在台分行也有賺，其中，中國銀行台北分行獲利8320萬元、交通銀行台北分行獲利4988萬元，至於建設銀行台北分行因成立期間較短，因此，還沒有無損益數字。金管會分析，中國銀行台北分行獲利的原因，除了利息收入，從事匯兌業務也是來源之一。
